Dear Students and Families,
We hope you are enjoying your summer. Please let me welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year! We want to give a big thank you to all the teachers, coaches and staff who have worked so hard in getting ready for the new school year. We also want to say thank you to all of our families for the consistent support you give us. You all make such a huge difference in our ability to succeed at Valley.
Please note the following important information:
Incoming freshmen and their families are invited to the TVHS Freshmen Extravaganza. It will be held on Monday, August 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. We will have food, information, tours, door prizes, etc. Please plan to attend this orientation. Important information will be given out about this upcoming school year. Freshmen will be able to pick up their schedules and check their lockers as well.
Enclosed please find the current student fee statement for your child. This statement includes course fees, books, supplies, and tablet/laptop fees. Please keep in mind that this amount may change due to several reasons such as: schedule changes, free/reduced lunch status, and tablet insurance.

You may also pay in cash/check at the school or by credit card on our corporation website using our eFunds link. Payment is expected at registration, unless other arrangements are made. If you have any questions or would like to discuss setting up a payment plan, please call our Treasurer, Mrs. Yarian, at 574-598-2100. She will be happy to assist you.
All students, both new and returning, need to register for school.
Registration for school should be done on-line using the enclosed instructions and snap code. Students and parents will also be able to meet with counselors at TVHS on Tuesday July 26 and Thursday July 28 from noon-8 PM.
Class schedules were mailed home with report cards in June. Parents and students can email their guidance counselor regarding questions and requested schedule changes. Changes should be requested before the first day of school.

The first day of school for students is Monday, August 8, 2016.
Please have students dress nicely as ID and yearbook photographs will be taken on the first day. Parents will have the opportunity to purchase photographs.
